Since 2010

Hab Shifa started with a simple mission, that is to help Australians discover the numerous benefits of the Black Seed.

We created real supplements based on real science

For more than 3000 years, Black Seed has been used by communities all over the world to bolster their immune systems, yet the vast majority of Australians have never heard of this invaluable supplement.

In 2010, we researched the Black Seed and found numerous medical studies that actively supported the benefits of the Black Seed for our immune systems. This scientific evidence was the impetus for us to create Hab Shifa, which became the first Australian company to introduce a range of Black Seed products to the global marketplace.

Our next step was to try and find the best honey, because much of the literature suggested that combining Black Seeds with a good quality honey, maximized the benefits of the Black Seed and the honey. This set us off on our next mission to find the best honey!

Our search ended on the New South Wales Central Coast where we partnered with local bee keepers to create a new range of Hab Shifa Natures Secret Manuka Honey. Since our early beginnings in 2010, we have added Black Seed Condiments and Black Seed Skin & Hair products to our growing range.

All our Black Seed products are backed by more than 30 years of research into the uses and benefits of Black Seed Oil. This research includes specialized access to experts in the field of Black Seed Oil, as well as several in-house studies that have been conducted to ensure that Hab Shifa uses the most potent seeds available on the market, grown under the most ideal conditions.

We only use use the highest quality, non-GMO, organically-grown, pesticide and non-irradiated Nigella Sativa seeds sourced directly from farms in India. Our products are produced in a HACCP approved state-of-the-art facility in Australia that uses an advanced extraction and filtration technology, resulting in highly nutritious cold pressed oils.

100% Natural, from planting to bottling

To maintain the natural aroma, flavour and nutritional characteristics of our quality raw materials. Hab Shifa do not employ chemical or solvent extraction processes and we even oversee the journey of our Black Seeds from their first cultivation, right through until they are placed into their bottles for sale.

Our Black Seed Oil products are the best on the market, not only because of our extraction methods, but also because we source our Black Seeds from farmers that specialise in sustainable farming practices. We maintain close relations with our farmers and conduct routine visits to our Black Seed farms in India. We strictly use non-GMO, organically grown black seeds, this means that the black seed you buy is fundamentally the same black seed that has been used for thousands of years.
